Amalia Abreu Díaz

Amalia Abreu Díaz was born in 1999, in Pinar del Río. She is a young Cuban artist who studied at the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts (2015-2019) in Havana. After passing through the academy she continued her studies at the Higher Institute of Arts (ISA) in 2019, where she is currently in the final year of her degree. His work has been characterized by the use of various media such as painting, photography and installation. She was recently a finalist in the Prisma 6 competition, Corpus; and awarded Third Prize in the tenth edition of the Post-it competition.
